Black Swan beauty Mila Kunis joins The Fighter frontman Mark Wahlberg on the set of their new comedy ‘Ted’ in Boston, Massachusetts.
It’s no surprise that Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane picked Kunis for his feature directorial debut, since working with her on his animated television series for nine long seasons.
The Universal Pictures film, produced by Working Title Films and Media Rights Capital surrounds the story of a man (Wahlberg) who has a teddy bear for a best friend, since making a childhood wish that miraculously came true. Ted’s furry presence proves problematic for Wahlberg’s adult-life, and the situation becomes even more complicated when he meets the woman of his dreams (Kunis).
MacFarlane himself will voice the role of ‘Ted’, while Step Brothers actor Adam Scott is also on board to play Kunis’s boss.
Shooting began early this month and the film is set for July 13, 2012 release. No doubt with MacFarlane’s Family Guy humour and Mila’s rocketing Hollywood status, this movie will be a ‘beary’ well received comedy.
