The Paperboy Poster Revealed

With the style of the trailers & movie posters becoming almost as important as the film these days, its great to take a look at the poster for 2012 film, The Paperboy as it evokes a deadly summer heat.

The film, directed by Lee Daniels (Precious) and the screenplay written by Pete Dexter (who wrote the original 1995 novel) stars Matthew McConaughy, Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman & John Cusack (as a villain!).

McConaughey is a reporter investigating the possible wrongful conviction of a man sitting on death row (Cusack). The newspaperman ropes in his wayward brother (Efron) to help with the job, but the younger man ends up falling for a beautiful woman (Nicole Kidman), who has been courting danger by writing passionate letters to Cusack. Suffice to say, it all becomes tangled up in a twisty mystery of sex, violence and bad decisions.

Take a look at the poster below as I’m awaiting its 2012 release!
