What is the Mapping Festival?

It is held in Geneva, Switzerland and currently in its 7th year. It is a ten day festival celebrating the ever increasingly popular world of video projection mapping, video art and audio-visual performances. The festival is a meeting of minds across different disciplines. The festival comprises everything from lectures, conferences, live a/v performances, workshops, exhibitions through to cinema screenings, video installations and live DJ/VJ sets.

This year some new software is being launched called ‘Mad Mapper’, it is developed by Modul8, an established piece of vj software. This new version is a revolutionary way to create the fantastic 3D projection images that we are now seeing popping up all over the world.
