If you’re in London town and looking for something to do this summer, then why not check out a film at the Southbank and have a drink at the Riverside bar. Over the coming few months of July, August and September the BFI are screenings some classic films in their Extended Run series.
Coming up at the start of August is the Robert De Niro classic Deer Hunter, definitely a good one to see on the big screen. Satyajit Ray’s mesmerising Charulata and the Beatles’ first film, a Hard Day’s Night also showing.
Here are some highlights, but check the BFI site for full listing and times.
