Following the recent unveiling of Sight & Sound’s once-a-decade Greatest Films of All Time poll. the British Film Institute is running a season of screenings of the top ten films at the BFI Southbank throughout September and October.

Feedback was taken from more than 1,000 critics, programmers, academics, distributors, writers and other cinephiles, and received precisely 846 top-ten lists that between them mention a total of 2,045 different films. This following list of screenings came out as the Top 10.
