Lindsay Lohan back on board for ‘Gotti’ film; not playing Victoria Gotti

Following previous news that Lindsay Lohan was out of contention to play Victoria Gotti in Fiore Films’ Gotti: Three Generations, MTV reports that the actress is now set to play John Gotti, Jnr.’s wife, Kim Gotti.

Producer Marc Fiore, who told TMZ Wednesday that it was up to Lohan to call him after negotiations with her management fell through, told People.com that the actress “not only is back in the movie, but she single-handedly put it all together. She called me personally and put her team on it, and we came to an agreement.”

Fiore also states that Lohan is part of a two-film deal, which also includes the Chazz Palminteri-scripted Mob Street, in which she will play the protagonist’s wife.

Speaking to the Associated Press, Lohan said, “I think it’s such an iconic story. I think it’s a great story to be told. I’m honored to be working with John Travolta and Joe Pesci.”

The role of John Gotti, Jnr. is yet to be cast. Earlier this week, director Nick Cassavetes dropped out of the project due to scheduling conflicts.
