The best is The Man They Could Not Hang. A simple enough tale of a resurrectionist scientist that sees him test the experiment by murdering a student and then use his creation to save said cadaver again. The police arrest him for the murder and he vows revenge.

A heap of reasons spring to mind. The atmosphere, the condition of the films (they have been well kept and restored). Audiences that like a film with artistry and genre troupes layered on thick will love them but the best reason for film fans is actually just the great films themselves.
