PREVERTERE follows one man’s quest to find love through a series of three very twisted, passionate and powerful relationships.

‘What do you do? How do you do it? What should you do? What do you trust; your head or your heart, and can they be the same? I don’t know. I don’t know who to choose. I don’t know who to love, fuck and stay away from’ – All things thought by a man named Templeton, he is the PREVERTERE.

First there is Shelly, the older woman so desperate for love she will believe anything. Along the way Templeton finds himself at the door of Irene, a woman who is perfectly caught in the middle of the road and happily stuck in her love game cycles. But the one Templeton can’t get away from is perhaps the love of his life Jo-anne, bringing the perfect mix of cute and sexy that every man dreams about in a woman.

Templeton has a lot on his mind and a lot of decisions to make. Sometimes you have to show your dirty side before you can fall in love.

Recently winning Best Narrative Feature at The Downtown Film Festival Los Angeles, it was described by Smells Like Screen Spirit’s Don Simpson as an “incredibly sexy film [that] plays with the sloppy and haphazard honesty of an early Jim Jarmusch film.”

Brian McGuire has written and directed an emotional comedy with strong truth. PREVERTERE offers a relatable look into booty calls and love, with laughs made to feel.
