Finally a trailer has been released for the A Team film, and although theres not much dialogue in it the voicoever does explain the plot basis. As in the original 80’s TV series the story follows the adventure of the famous four as US soldiers who were arrested for a crime they didn’t commit, but in this updated version they are Iraq war veterans.
The film comes from director Joe Carnahan (Narc) and is being produced by Tony and Ridley Scott with quite a promising cast – Liam Neeson as Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, Bradley Cooper as Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as Sgt. B.A. “Bad Attitude” Baracus and Sharlto Copley as Capt. H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock.
The trailer has plenty of explosions and it looks to be a faithful adaptation of the much loved TV series wiht plenty of original lines and music – and I’m loving the tagline – ‘There is no plan B’. The A Team is scheduled to be released on July 30 in the UK and we cant wait!
