Lexi Cinema presents The Nomad. They have recently announced their return after a brief period of hibernation, ready to roam this summer bringing its wondrous delights of movie magic and the most enchanting cinematic experience in town.
Last summer, The Nomad – the most intrepid and magical pop-up cinema experience around – toured across London and the South of England, visiting Castles, Palaces, Lidos, Churches, Cemeteries, Boxing Rings, London Landmarks and Royal Parks. The year came to a climax with a seasonal residency at Whiteleys Shopping Centre, sealing The Nomad’s reputation as the most ambitious purveyor of pop-up cinema in the UK.
2012 will see the Nomad return to some of its favourite open-air venues with not only the best kit but also the best atmosphere. he Nomad will be exploring the great outdoors and will also bring its magical and carefully curated film happenings to wide-eyed audiences at many beautiful, unexpected and sometimes downright strange locations. No matter where The Nomad appears, it will embrace and enhance each venue, offering new ways of seeing an uplifting range of films, from silver screen classics to cult, noir and silent, to mainstream guilty pleasures.
