The Eye of the Storm Review

Charlotte Rampling gives a powerhouse performance as the overbearing dying matriarch in Fred Schepisi's adaptation of Patrick White's 1973 novel, The Eye of the Storm. Rampling plays Elizabeth Hunter who for one reason or other is the owner of a beautiful estate in the Sydney suburb of Centennial Park.

Every so often a documentary will come around, which is so important and so powerful that you forget for a moment that you are watching this on your screen and instead start to see the bigger picture and how its subject matter is affecting the greater world around you. Fire in the Blood is an example of when that happens and instead, the audience is progressively given all the facts about something, which is happening outside their very door and something, which can and must be changed.

I, Anna in all ways is a family affair; the film stars Charlotte Rampling, who in her 60's still looks stunning and can still give thrilling performances off slightly unhinged women.
