From the writer of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and James and the Giant Peach comes another best selling novel turned into a movie; Fantastic Mr Fox. With an all star cast lined up to do the voice overs, news of Wes Andersons production has been on the circuit for a good few months now with a number of teaser trailers being released.
The film tells the story of Mr Fox (suprise suprise) and the famers that he gets his food from. The farmers are not happy with the Foxes that keep taking their chickens, and so they plot to get rid of him and his family. Little do the farmers know that this is no ordinary fox which isnt going to just pack up his burrow and move. Instead, Mr Fox and his gang of animal friends (Badger, Rat, Weasal) counteract the farmers efforts with hilarious consequences.
Definately one of the bigger films of the year, George Clooney does a great, hearty voice over for Mr Fox. Fantastic Mr Fox is out on 23rd October 2009.
