BFI Neighbourhood Cinema: Equipment Fund

bfi-neighbourhood-cinema-2016-1000x750Need new equipment for your community cinema? Apply to the Neighbourhood Cinema Equipment Fund!

The aim is to give everyone in the UK the chance to have access to a cinema experience regardless of their geographic or social circumstances.

The BFI recognise that it can be difficult to cover all the costs associated with showing films in community venues and would like to help by providing equipment to established not-for-profit community cinemas.

Venues who can demonstrate sufficient levels of existing activity with a British and specialised film programme can apply for equipment such as screens, projectors, Blu-ray players, sound equipment, chairs and blackout blinds. This fund will only supply specified equipment and does not currently offer cash grants for other types of equipment or for equipment from other suppliers.
