On 4th July, the visionary film maker and artist Alejandro Jodorowsky is coming to town. He is best known for the classic cult western El Topo, the John Lennon-backed The Holy Mountain and was the first to attempt to create a film version Frank Herbert’s Dune.

In addition, he is also a prolific creator of comics, many illustrated by Mœbius, and an authority on Tarot and other spiritual systems. On a very rare visit to London, he will be talking with Iain Sinclair about all this and more. Not to be missed!

Before the live conversation will be a screening of Frank Pavich’s 2013 documentary Jodorowsky’s Dune, followed at 19.45 by the conversation.

Price: £15, (£12 Over 60s) and £10

Alejandro Jodorowsky: Film, comics and conversation is part of The British Library’s Comics Unmasked Season, which runs 2 May – 19 Aug 2014.
