For all the Ajay Devgan fans that loved to see him in action movies, well, the wait is finally over. He’s teaming up with close-friend Rohit Shetty to re-make a super-hit Malayali action movie.
Ajay Devgan has bought the rights of Mollywood (South Indian film industry) action movie Puthiya Mukham for an undisclosed amount for it to be re-made in Hindi. Malayalam movies have always been a hit with action movies, and Ajay Devgan is just one of many to have dont remakes.
The Keralan superstar Prithviraj starred in Puthiya Mukham, which was one of the biggest hits last year. The remake will be produced by Ajay Devgan and directed by Rohit Shetty after a huge hits with comedy flicks.
Rohit Shetty says, “I have seen Puthiya Mukham three time. Ajay and I have been wanting to do a hardcore action film for the last three years. At last, we are doing it!”.
Ajay Devgan is already a very busy man with a vast amount of movies being set to release, such as, Ashwini Dhir’s “Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?”, Prakash Jha’s “Raajneethi”, Kireet Khurana’s “Toonpur Ka Superhero”, Priyadarshan’s “Garam Hawa”, Bunty Lutharia’s “Once Upon A Time”, and Rohit Shetty’s “Golmaal 3”, which begins shooting this April.
