A Fourth Helping of Pie?

Sean-William Scott is ready to reprise his bad boy role of “Stifler” on the American Pie franchise.

Fresh out of a 30-day stint in rehab, the 34-year-old troubled actor has revealed that he will begin production on ‘American Union’ next month, which marks the fourth instalment of Universal’s American Pie series.

Scott is the latest member of the original cast to sign on for the sequel, joining fellow actors Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan and American Pie veteran Eugene Levy. It’s rumoured that Universal are pushing for the entire original cast to come together for the film which commemorates  their 10-year high school reunion in East Great Falls.

Harold and Kumar director Hayden Schlossberg is on board for the new instalment which will begin shooting at the end of next month.   Let’s just hope it proves to be a sweeter slice than the past American Pie spin-offs which have ‘crumbled’ at the box office.
