The rare occasion that I am side swiped by a film, can lead to a series of strange events. THE BEAST MUST DIE led to me wearing a rain mac, deerstalker and smoking a pipe. It was Halloween and the theme was heroes and villainy! But then I thought, I loved the experience so much and enjoyed the whodunnit atmosphere that I think many of you will too dear reader!

WHATS IT ABOUT?
A mysterious island, a series of tracking devices to hunt those on the island and a stunning mansion filled with goodies that have been amassed by a plundering wrong doer! The house has a motley crew of suspects in a deadly game of ‘guess who’ is the were wolf! Eight people have been invited to the estate for the weekend. One of them is a deadly werewolf. The other seven are flesh for the feast. You as the audience have to guess which one is the foul beast and when will they strike again!
WHY SHOULD WE WATCH IT FOR HALLOWEEN?
It is rare to find a film which puts both the scares and the sleuths into an audience. Though the film is a bit heavy in its narration, silly in its execution and has a very unlikeable group of schemers, it is however a thrilling monster movie that will keep everyone guessing! This film works well for groups, adults of varying ages and even children with a sense of humour.
WHAT SHOULD WE LOOK OUT FOR?
I would say, as a fun Halloween game, get a print out of all suspects. Then everyone must choose while you watch, who they think is the deadly beast. You get a moment in the film, to choose who you think it is and the winner should get a lovely prize!
