Well first, choose who you will be. Michael Knight in K.T.T.? Doc or Marty McFly in the Delorean? Both are quite weighted and feel, real. At £150 pounds, they better. They both have lights and flashes. Some add extra sensory stuff but others are just cool. Beauty and brillance. I really liked the look of the Delorean. Its outer sheel is the same as the standalone version that was around last year. K.I.T.T is a sleaker and sexier creature but feels more unreal. Dare I say it feels more like a toy… Once that choice is down, its set up. The track is easy to connect. There are a series of choices to what you want and how it will deliver thrills. These tracks are varied but have lots of good and some bad. Then place the cars.
Now its the race to win. The hand controller are sensitive and handle a lot of pressure shifts. This is the new gun progress that Scalextric have introduced. Making good on hard corners and equally accelaration at those straights. Over the 5.3 metres of track, sometimes it drains power a little if you are shifting high and low quickly. The a crossover, side swipe and high lows are all fun and finally, we do not have those weak power outputs. We do however have to be honest and say I lost but for Christmas, this is a major win!
