Stone the crows! The IMAX has pulled another monster session out of its pocket. The last article i wrote about the IMAX cinema was featuring the Terminator All-Nighter where they showed all 4 films back to back. Now it seems that must have been a roaring success and so now they’ve upped their game. This time, its Saw and yes, they are showing ALL 6 FILMS back to back!
If you are struggling for something to do this Halloween – then surely this is it! Well, saying that, it might be a nice idea but all 6 films back to back in one sitting is quite a challenge. I have previously been to a double bill of Stanley Kubricks The Shining followed by Full Metal Jacket, it was amazing as you’d expect but 2 films was a good limit.
The beauty of the IMAX cinima is its size. There is a bar outside in the foyer which will be open until the last film starts and also teas, coffees etc to keep your energy levels up.
Tickets are priced between £16 and £27.50. Screenings begin at 11.15 on Saturday 31st October – Halloween, if you needed reminding. Please visit the BFI IMAX cinema website for details of ticket bookings and start times of all the films. If anyone has any better ideas of how to do this Halloween, i’d love to hear ’em.
Of course if you’d prefer to stay in the comfort and safety of your own home – then you can buy the first 5 Saw films from Play.com.
