So Sir Sacha is back, and this time he is camper than ever. His imagination and scary wardrobe introduces us to his latest creation to hit the big screens, a homosexual fashion correspondant called Bruno. First wreaking havoc back in June at the MTV awards, Bruno made his debut by launching his petite little bottom into Eminems lap causing the rap star to storm out of the awards in outrage.
With this beatifully executed introduction to the world of media, Bruno was ready for the bigtime. Fast forward to today, and news reports are publishing details of the apparent shock tactics used by Sacha to impact on his audience in the movie.
The film tells the story of Bruno trying to make his way in America, through which (similiar to Borat) Bruno focuses on key individuals and groups to generate highly amusing scenarios. A key character during the film is a black model by the name of “Jesus”, who enters sporting a crown of thorns and a well placed loin cloth.
No doubt, Bruno will offend many groups as did Sacha’s last big screen hit Borat did, putting Sacha Baron Cohen firmly back on the hot spot of most religious leaders around the globe. Grab your pitch fork and bag of popcorn and head this way for Bruno is released across cinemas today…
