Adam sandler is a fantastic actor that lends himself well to simple humour. Little Nicky is a good example of Adams ability to take on a basic characters persona and turn him into a person that an audience loves and laughes at . I find that from watching most of Adam Sandlers films, you laugh with his characters rather than at them.
Whats funny about littly Nicky is that becuase hes half devil half saint ,hes a good guy whose meant to be bad. Failing at being bad and turning to the good side, Little Nicky tells the story of the devils son that comes topside to save his father, Lucifer. Never having left Hell before, he feels cold and vulnerable, but with the help of a devil mut, Little Nicky goes on his way to finding the key to saving his fathers life….his two ambitious brothers. Little Nicky is a nice easy film that you can watch with the kids on a sunday afternoon. If falls into the category of films which if you dont expect much youll be happy.
