Superb film. Start to finish this film is so engaging and entertaining. This was the only film that Bruce Lee ever made in English and what a shame that was. We at least get a taste here of what he was capable of now he had made the jump to Hollywood. There are of course other Bruce Lee films, but this is by far the finest.

The plot is pretty simple really. Bruce is enlisted by the British government to become an undercover operative for them. He is sent to a martial arts tournament on an island, owned and run by a man named Han.

To the outside world it is just a standard martial arts tournament held every year. On the inside its a secret job interview. Han is trying to find the best fighters in the world and recruit them into his organisation, which isn’t really anything to do with martial arts but the opium trade.

All the central characters, Mr Williams, Mr Roper, Bruce, Bolo and Han are fantastic. They all play their parts so well. The action is great, the script and the jokes are now legendary.

If you are into the modern day stuff of Jet Li or even Jackie Chan, this is where its really at. Enter the Dragon is the finest martial arts movie ever made and still remains so over 30 years later. The soundtrack by Lalo Schifrin is a work of art in its own right!
