I can’t help but feel this film would have never been made if it wasn’t for the success of the amazing ‘Shaun of The Dead’ film by Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright a few years ago. Horror comedy is not something us British are known for.

Saying that, here we have some big names in British film making throwing their hat into the ring – namely Danny Dyer (The Football Factory) who plays Neil and Stephen Graham (Snatch, This Is England) who plays Vince.

We meet the gang with title cards and we are painted a stereotypical male image for all of them, an almost tacky one. In a bid to help one of the lads get over a divorce, a group of ‘geezers’ arrange a trip to have a laugh and forget about their day to day lives. They end up in a village called Moodsley – the middle of nowhere, as you’d expect.

Its not long before their fun filled weekend turns into a living nightmare when they discover that the village’s female population are all rabid men eating creatures. Thats the plot in detail.

I’m sure Danny Dyer fans out there won’t need any encouraging and to be honest there won’t be too many better things to do this Halloween than be scared and have a bit of a laugh at the same time, so get involved.
