Shah Rukh Khan has made a new friend. It’s the successful hip-hop artist Akon. He is in Mumbai for Shah Rukh’s next movie “RA. 1”, to which he is singing and composing a few tracks.
Shah Rukh Khan hosted a party at the JW Marriott, which was attended by a lot of stars such as; Juhi Chawla, Poonam Dhillon, Riya Sen, Madhoo, Sonal Chauhan, Diana Hayden, and many more.
Akon says that he is a big fan of Shah Rukh and that we will be seeing a lot more him in India. “I am a big fan of Shah Rukh. I am very familiar with Shah Rukh’s work. I am meeting Kareena (Kapoor) for the first time today,”Akon told reporters in a press conference here Tuesday.
“I am also composing. You know, I will give him (Shah Rukh) a couple of versions of the song, the way I do it. And I will also integrate it with the traditional way theBollywood films are done. I will give them options and they will decide, which one to use in the film,” said Akon.
Akon, orginally from Senegal, claims that Indian culture is not all different from African. “You know the tradition in Africa is not different from India. There is same type of entertainment going on, the difference is only in language. I always wanted to expand my horizon, explore and enjoy,” said Akon.
