The masked killers of the late nineties are back, and will be released exactly 10 years after the last movie was released. Although production of the 4th film was announced in 2008, it was only this week that Neve Campbell was confirmed as returning to star in the new film, starring alongside Courtney Cox and David Arquette.

Keeping in with true Scream tradition, producer Bob Weinstein (Dimension Films) is trying to get Wes Craven back on the scene to direct the film, as part of a bigger move to get Dimension Films back where it started and focusing on its best productions; franchises and 3D. Weinstein will also be bringing Halloween, Hellraisers, and Scanners back to our screens, some of which will be in 3D.
