After the first contest of Phoonk where Ram Gopal Varma’s team challenged any member of the public to watch the movie alone in the cinema for RS.500,000, they have come up with yet another challenge. The first contestant failed within 30mins so nobody won.
This time round Ram Gopal Varma’s team have stated, “For the sequel, we are going to implement our Contest in a very scientific way as never ever done before in the history of Cinema anywhere across the World. The viewer who will claim that he would not get scared will be fitted with an ECG machine while he is watching PHOONK 2 which will monitor his heartbeat & pulse rate and this will be shown live on a screen outside the theatre to both the Media and all concerned.”
So this time round, there is no way out for the contestant, if his heartbeat rises to a certain level, then he fails. I definitely think they should pick someone that practises zen so he can control his heartbeat, that’s easy money! The contestant will be filmed so that all can see his facial expressions.
The team have taken it so seriously that they will provide medical staff just in case the contestant goes into cardiac arrest, how scary could this film possibly be?!
