Here is another controversial step by Bollywood producer/director Mahesh Bhatt. He has took on Shagufta Rafique, a bollywood writer associated with Mahesh Bhatt’s banner Vishesh Films, for her directorial debut. The controversy here is that the whole movie is said to be shot in Pakistan.
Nothing else of the film and cast is said to be announced yet but close sources say that Mahesh Bhatt is looking to have a totally different cast than his usual Emraan Hashmi.
Mahesh Bhatt says, “You have heard it right. This time our film will be directed by Shagufta Rafique. She will be shooting the film in Pakistan. At the moment she is busy doing the recce of the locations”.
Sources say there is a significance for it being shot in Pakistan. This is real big move from Mahesh Bhatt. Should he be cupping up controversies like this. There is a lot of history between India and Pakistan. From the 1971 war to Kargil, these two countries are constantly in conflict over Kashmir.
