Dominic Cooper to star in revenge thriller

Variety have reported that actor, Dominic Cooper (Mamma Mia!) is to star in Joel Silver’s (Sherlock Holmes & The Book of Eli) new revenge thriller, Motor City after impressing audiences playing both Latif Yahia and Uday Hussein in the 2011 drama, The Devil’s Double, following Yahia as he is forced to become a body double for Hussein.

Joel Silver’s new picture, Motor City follows a felon who, after being released from prison, begins tracking down the men who framed him is being made by Dark Castle Productions for Warner Bros and is being helmed by The Book of Eli director, Albert Hughes.

Cooper can next be seen in Simon Curtis’ My Week with Marilyn a little later this year followed by Timur Bekmambetov’s adaptation of Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter due June 2012.
