Dean Parisot attached to direct Bill & Ted 3.

Most excellent news for Bill and Ted fans! The long awaited return for the clueless high-schoolers, last seen in Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey, has moved up a gear today as Vulture reports that Dean Parisot is attached as director.

Parisot, who brought us the awesome sci-fi-spoof Galaxy Quest, will be adapting a script from Ed Solomon and Chris Matheson. Early reports indicate that the story will focus on the original Wild Stallions rather than attempt to reboot the series for a new generation. As yet there are no indications of where, or when, the narrative will take the place or if any other characters are returning. Watch this space, and be excellent to each other!
