Channel 4 Announces Week of 3D TV

Channel 4 has announced it is to broadcast a week of ‘3D Television’ from 16-22 November. With free glasses being given out at Sainsbury’s stores across the country a selected number of programmes over the week will be shown in 3D and the list includes two classic 3D films –

Flesh For Frankenstein: Wednesday 18 November, 12.40am
The 3D version of Paul Morrissey’s macabre, wacky 70s take on the Frankenstein story, starring Udo Kier and Joe Dallesandro. Baron Frankenstein desires to create a super-race of humans by making the perfect man and woman from bit of other corpses.

Friday the 13th Part III in 3D: Friday 20 November, 10pm
Jason Voorhees is back from the dead to wreak havoc again, this time on a group of friends camping at the woods.

Keep your glasses on at all times as apparently selected adverts and the channel 4 Idents will also be broadcast in 3D! Also showing during the week are some 3D television programmes –

The Queen in 3D on Monday 16 November, 9pm
