Life Just Is Review – EIFF #edfilmfest

Life Just Is will result only in wasting an hour and a half of your life. Director/writer Alex Barrett has concocted a film so bad that it not only disappoints but angers. The title reads like an unfinished thought so I will have a go at finishing it for him:

Life just is boring. Life just is vapid. Life just is tedious. Life just is uninspired. Life just is out of focus. Life just is misused digital. Life just is awkwardly acted. Life just is unoriginal. Life just is poorly written. Life just is irritating. Life just is vacuous. Life just is ponderous. Life just is forced. Life just is self-important. Life just is meaningless. Life just is sleep-inducing. Life just is uninteresting. Life just is sleazy. Life just is formulaic. Life just is a battering ram of banal.

Life just is not worth it.
