OFFF festival is ‘Finally Fcking Fifteen’ this year!

Barcelona, May 28-29-30

OFFF festival is a well known brand of events bringing together top notch designers, thinkers and artists all over the world to share their knowledge with crowds of passionate creative visitors. Every year it comes back home to Barcelona to celebrate it’s birthday by inviting the best of the best speakers, showing amazing work, running workshops and throwing parties! And turning fifteen calls for a special celebration, so this year’s OFFF is bound to be one hell of a show!

Since the beginning of this century when OFFF started, we’ve seen artists and designers embrace modern technologies in unforeseen ways. This year’s lineup proves that OFFF is on the forefront of this wave! We can look forward to AKQA’s showcase of modern advertising, robots from Jan de Coster or generative art by Robert Hodgin. As every year, there will also be a parade of mind-bending films and animations by Monoco, OneSize or PostPanic, who will premier their CGI master piece film Sundays. However, OFFF does not forget about the tradition either. Snask, Vasava or Gavin Strange push the boundaries of graphic design by craft and expression, rather than hi-tech tools. And illustrators such as Pat Parry or Conrad Roset will show that sometimes you don’t need technology to create great art at all.

Of course, this party under the Spanish sun would not be complete without all the rockstars of the design industry. The man, the legend, the infamous Stefan Sagmeister is on the bill too! Gmunk, who’s talks are as mind-blowing as his work, also accepted the invitation. And as a cherry on top, James White, the man of thunder and rainbows is doing the main festival titles this year. We have a bit of an insider info, so we can tell you that he’s got something very very special planed for us all. Maybe a present for all of us to take home!?
