After the launch screening at FrightFest last Sunday the Kickstarter campaign for Hawk the Hunter – sequel to cult film Hawk the Slayer – has begun!
35 years after the original sword and sorcery adventure graced the screens writer/director/producer Terry Marcel returns with the sequel Hawk the Hunter with Keith Claxton taking over the director reins.
Jason Kingsley OBE, CEO of the video games company Rebellion, has come on board as co-production partner. Rebellion are looking forward to creating the game from the film!
Rick Wakeman has signed up to compose the score for Hawk the Hunter, and Ray Charleson (Crow in Hawk the Slayer) will be returning as pivotal Elf character Bowman.
Now just $500,000 short of the $5m budget which they are hoping the worldwide Hawk fanbase will rally round and support the long-awaited sequel.
