KINO 10 have been putting on short film screenings in the Midlands for some time and have developed a reputation as the most interesting short film exhibitors in the region. Although they screen all styles and genres, they have a penchant for animation and handmade-oddities. They now venture to the capital where they begin a short film night residency at both The Roxy Bar & Screen and The Back Room Cinema at The Montpelier in Peckham.

KINO 10 begin their short film night residency at The Montpelier with an eclectic selection of the best short films from all over the globe, including some creepy animation from Finland, a Harmony Korine short featuring South African rave-rap crew Die Antwoord, and the brilliant multi-award winning, beautifully animated, Oh Willy…. from the Netherlands.

For their first night at The Roxy, they bring with them a selection of jocular gems from all over the globe. Highlights include the brilliantly funny, Sundance award-winning puppet-film, Brick Novax’s Diary, Andrew Rowe’s experimental, conversationalist, Hippo Birdwings, Sparrow & Castice’s comedic mashup, The Abridged Antiques Roadshow, and the UK premiere of American animator, Michelle Brost’s Leonard. Expect all manner of films from animation, to experimental, to live action, and music video. Finish the week with a smile on your face.
