Martin Scorsese at BFI Southbank until Tue 28 Feb
THE BFI is delighted to present a two-month season of films and shorts made or chosen by Martin Scorsese, a passionate cinephile and one of the most influential American directors of all time. Across Jan and Feb he also personally curates a fine selection of titles restored by The Film Foundation – works that represent our global cinema heritage. So if you’re keen to experience his monumental new film, Silence, revisit classics such as Goodfellas, Taxi Driver or Gangs of New York, delve into Scorsese’s own filmmaking roots or peel back the layers of some of the most iconic musicians, now’s your chance.
