Last night Lovely Bones got its world premiere at the annual London Royal Film Performance, with Camilla and Charles in attendance. Based on the bestselling novel by Alice Sebold, and from director Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings, King Kong) it tells the story of a 14-year-old girl looking down from heaven at her family after she is raped and murdered by her neighbour. It stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz and Susan Sarandon.
With executive producer Steven Spielberg on board this was originally scheduled to come out months ago but its been held back for the perfect Oscar season release window so its not out until 29 January here in the UK so for now you’ll just have to suffice with a look at the trailer below.
