The Movie Lounge, aka the Hip-Hop Film School, is a new screening initiative that will screen films, music videos and documentaries about hip-hop culture. To begin their progmramme they are hosting a free screening of new film Freestyle in Stratford Library this Saturday, the 20th February. Set in the world of freestyle basketball, the story follows a young teen love story. The director Kolton Lee (a former basketball player) and cast members will also be there for a Q & A after the screening.

The screening is held in the Hopkins Room in Stratford Library (3 The Grove, E15 1EL) between 2 and 5pm. There is no charge to attend, but spaces are limited so book in advance by emailing your details to bookings@hip-hophooray.com
