Free cinema tickets for students

E4 has teamed up with Picturehouse cinemas to offer students free cinema tickets every month. The E4 ‘slackers club’ is free to join to anyone with a valid NUS card and once a month they host a free screening around the country at all picturehouse sites. This months screening is Le Donk and Scor Zay zee, a British mockumentary from director Shane Meadows.

Le Donk and Scor-zay-zee tells the story of real-life rapper Scor-zay-zee and his ex-drummer roadie Donk (Paddy Considine). The film follows Donk’s attempts to gatecrash the Arctic Monkeys’ 2007 Old Trafford show and get Scorz an opening slot. It features not only Olivia Colman (Hot Fuzz, Peep Show) but also the band Arctic Monkeys. This free E4 slackers club film screening is at 1:30pm on Wednesday 9th December in Picturehouse Cinemas across the land.

So what are you waiting for? To get a slackers club membership card you simply need to flash your NUS card at any picturehosue cinema and then you can book tickets for the slackers screenings. Tickets are allocated on a first come first serve basis and do need to be booked in advance at the cinema or on the phone so be quick!
