For one night only, on Sunday 18th December, the flicker club, are presenting: It’s a Wonderful Life, starring James Stewart.
Celebrating the 65th anniversary of this timeless Christmas classic at the magnificent Hampstead Theatre.
In flicker club tradition, the evening begins with an introduction from a surprise guest who will read the original story ‘The Greatest Gift’ from which this legendary film is adapted, essentially Jackanory for adults.
If you’re free, go along and check out carol singers, drink, eat and be merry in the glorious Hampstead Theatre, before settling back in your seat and listening to the dulcet tones of our surprise special guest prior to the screening of the film itself.
And as its Christmas you will not leave empty handed. On top of a usual goody bag which includes the source material and limited edition art, there will be a secret santa DVD sack.
Make sure you take a wrapped copy of a film you’d like to share and you will leave with a new one!
